This project brings together a broad group of partners who historically have not connected or worked together before. Our focus is on building trust among the partners using the development of PL in the region as a common focus.  As we move forward we will explore opportunities to build capacity in each of the sectors along with establishing cross collaborative processes.

Our Mission is to build a shared responsibility and network of collaboration among the four domains: Sport, Health, Recreation and Education. We want to support the awareness and education of Physical Literacy within our communities and
ensure all members of our communities have equitable access to physical activity opportunities. We also plan to mobilize resources to support the development of physical literacy and increase access to physical activity experiences.

We will meet the third Wednesday of every month to build our connectedness, explore opportunities to develop PL in our communities and establish formal partnerships among our project partners. One of the goals we are focused on is to build a village to support and improve the well being of the region’s citizens.
